Nature’s Story
An exhibition weaves together art, science, and technology to explore nature as a connected, evolving system
Set within the historic Chiostro del Bramante, Flowers. Wonderful Nature is the latest chapter of a successful exhibition that now turns its focus from flowers alone to the wider natural world. Running through September 6, the show explores nature as a living, interconnected system— where plants, animals, and marine life coexist in a delicate, ever-changing balance. Blending art, science, and ecology, the exhibition unfolds across three thematic sections— art and ecology, art and science, and art and politics—bringing together works from the 17th century to today. Alongside historical pieces, visitors will encounter cutting-edge installations, including works created with artificial intelligence.
Highlights include immersive, site-specific installations by Austin Young and Zadok Ben-David, as well as contemporary works like Enter the Plastocene by Tamiko Thiel. These are presented next to earlier masterpieces, offering a rich, layered journey through art and nature.
Enhanced with new scientific content and important loans from Italian collections, the exhibition invites visitors to see nature not just as a subject, but as a complex, evolving story. chiostrodelbramante.it
