What’s on this month

May is filled with unmissable events: Caravaggio 2025 at Palazzo Barberini, The Large Glass at MAXXI, Edvard Munch at Palazzo Bonaparte, Avedon at Gagosian Gallery, Global Baroque at Scuderie del Quirinale, the Italian Open Tennis at Foro Italico, and more.

The Large Glass

Until October 25
Exploring the various nuances of the contemporary experience, the MAXXI collection carries works by the most important artists of our time. In an attempt to combine the museum’s art with the work of intellectuals, the museum has asked American conceptual artist Alex Da Corte to reorganize and rationalize the collection according to his artistic vision. The result is the exhibition The Large Glass, which brings together contemporary artists and modern masters, with works by Francis Alÿs, Atelier Van Lieshout, Alighiero Boetti, Domenico Gnoli, Wolf Kahlen, William Kentridge, Marisa Merz, Kara Walker, Gal Weinstein, AWP, DEMOGO, Stefano Cerio, Rachele Maistrello, and more. maxxi.art
